What is LAYN BOX?

LAYN BOX is a wall-mounted dispenser designed for individually wrapped sanitary pads. A mechanical push control releases one pad at a time, while the remaining stock stays enclosed. It brings discreet access to menstrual care into shared restrooms.

Who is LAYN BOX designed for?

LAYN BOX is designed for organisations that welcome people into shared spaces: hotels and hospitality venues, workplaces, healthcare and wellbeing facilities, universities, schools and public spaces. LAYN can also support conferences and other events with temporary dispensers.

Why offer period products in shared spaces?

Because a period does not always arrive when expected, and the right product is not always at hand. In a 2025 study at a university in the UAE, 59.8% of the women surveyed reported difficulty accessing period products on campus, and 68.3% had borrowed a pad or tampon from someone else (BMC Public Health).

Does it need electricity or batteries?

No. LAYN BOX is designed to work entirely mechanically, with no wiring, batteries, network connection or app. The push control resets after dispensing.

How is it installed and refilled?

The dispenser is designed for concealed wall mounting. Authorised staff open the lockable front panel, load the wrapped pads in the marked orientation, close the panel and check dispensing. Installation requirements are confirmed for your wall surface.

Can people take several pads at once?

The design releases one wrapped pad per press and keeps stored pads out of reach. A short mechanical reset is intended to discourage rapid repeated dispensing. Final reset timing is subject to product validation.

Are the pads organic?

That is the intention. LAYN aims to supply its refills as individually wrapped pads made from 100% organic cotton. The supplier and its certification will be confirmed before launch.

How do pricing and refills work?

Tell us about your location, number of restrooms and preferred finish. You can enquire about direct purchase with refills, a LAYN Care service plan or a multi-site arrangement. Pricing, refill quantities and delivery timing are confirmed in an individual proposal.
