LAYN
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This policy explains how LAYN handles information when you visit laynbox.com, send an enquiry or join our waitlist.
Who handles your information
LAYN is responsible for the information collected through this website. You can contact us about this policy or your information through the LAYN enquiry form linked below. Include the email address you used with LAYN so we can identify the relevant record.
Information we collect
For enquiries, we collect your name, organisation, email address, sector, city and country, service interest and preferred finish. You may also provide a quantity and a message. These details help us understand and respond to your request.
For the waitlist, we collect your first name, email address and selected language, together with your consent wording, signup time and subscription status. We also save any optional answer you choose to provide about where you would like to see LAYN.
When available, we save campaign tags, a referral source, the referring website’s origin and an approximate country supplied by our hosting service. Our application uses short-lived, hashed identifiers to limit spam; it does not save your raw IP address in the waitlist record. Our hosting service may process network information needed to deliver the website.
Please do not submit medical information, menstrual history or other sensitive personal information. The website does not require these details.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry details to review your request, discuss suitable LAYN solutions and follow up with you. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, this is to take steps at your request before a possible agreement, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
We use your waitlist details to send the updates you agreed to receive and understand interest in LAYN. You can withdraw that consent at any time. Limited security and referral information helps us prevent abuse and understand how people find the waitlist. We do not use the website to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Cookies and external services
The layn-language cookie remembers your language choice for up to one year. After signup, the layn_waitlist cookie can keep your waitlist session active for up to seven days so you can answer the optional question or manage your subscription. You can remove cookies in your browser; some preferences or session features may then stop working.
The website’s own code does not install advertising or third-party analytics trackers. Arabic fonts are served from this website itself; no font request is sent to a third party. Separate platform or administrator sign-in services may use their own essential cookies.
Service providers and international processing
Our website uses Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure to serve pages and store submissions. Authorised LAYN administrators can access the records. When confirmation emails or updates are enabled, an email-delivery provider also processes the details necessary to send them. We do not sell your personal information.
Cloud services may process information outside your country, including outside Saudi Arabia or the European Economic Area. You can contact us for details about providers, processing locations and applicable transfer safeguards. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long information is kept
Enquiries are kept while we assess and follow up your request and any resulting business relationship. Waitlist information is kept while your subscription and the related launch communications remain relevant. We may retain limited records where needed to record consent, honour an unsubscribe request or meet legal obligations.
Unsubscribing stops updates and cancels pending confirmations; it does not automatically erase the stored record. You can separately request deletion. Waitlist sessions expire after seven days, and spam-prevention identifiers expire within about two hours; expired technical records are cleared during subsequent requests.
Your choices and rights
Use the unsubscribe link provided after signup or in a LAYN email, or contact us through the enquiry form. Withdrawing consent does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to and a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You can also complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including IMY in Sweden or SDAIA in Saudi Arabia where applicable.
Updates to this policy
We will update this page when the website’s information practices change. The date above identifies this version.
